December 2nd is an important day: the nominees and winners of the Belgian Business Awards for the Environment 2009 will be announced.
Out of 37 candidates the jury selected 3 Belgian winners. They will have the opportunity to participate with the other nominees in the European competition organised by the DG Environment of the European Commission. In total 10 Belgian companies will compete for the European Business Awards for the Environment next year.
The award ceremony takes place in the presence of Paul Magnette, Minister of Climate and Energy, Thomas Leysen, President of the Federation of Enterprises in Belgium and Jos Delbeke, Deputy Director General DG Environment, European Commission.
The award ceremony will be followed by a cocktail drink.
