Business & Society Belgium's 4th CSR Forum

The 4th CSR Forum of Business & Society (17 March 2010, Belgacom Surf House, Rue Stroobants 51, 1140 Evere: map) is dedicated entirely to "mainstreaming". Mainstreaming CSR is about turning the CSR principles into a mainstream movement at all levels of a company or organization. Ideally, every department will eventually choose to work in a more responsible way - not just in production or at the HQ, but within the accounting and legal departments too. A majority of the workers at all levels of the organization should be aware of the CSR principles and should put them into practice.

H.R.H. Prince Filip, EU president Herman Van Rompuy and ministers Inge Vervotte and Paul Magnette will honour us with their presence.

Serge de Gheldere, CEO, Futureproofed

"The climate crisis is both an unprecedented threat and a unique opportunity to improve the way people live and work. Once we look through this different lens, we can start laying the foundations for a sustainable society, because it is necessary, possible, profitable and attractive. I will make case on how businesses are already starting this new industrial revolution, how this sets the stage for a more natural resource society, and how, in passing, this could help restore the balance between north and south, the developed and developing countries. "
